Synopsis

“Throw away what you no longer need!” Mum said, urging Ashley to pack her stuff because they are moving home soon. Peeking out from under her bed is a group of long-forgotten friends – Uncle Rice and Mini Rice, Hiking Shoe, Red Packet, the Sewing Kit twins, Goosie, Fishbowl Pavilion who pretend to be lifeless objects when Ashley and her mother are present. They always sing and dance while Ashley is away, but this time they are worried. They don’t want to be dumped as rubbish! Big Beard, a supersized calligraphic brush who reels off Chinese poems every now and then.

So, who is Big Beard? Is Ashley going to desert her little friends? Will she remember any of them?
